Maintain Your Microsoft Action Pack Benefits and Take Advantage of a Special Offer |

Because you are a Microsoft Professional Accountants' Network (MPAN) member and a Microsoft Action Pack Solution Provider subscriber, we want to update you about changes to subscription eligibility requirements.
As announced in November 2009, Microsoft Office Accounting is no longer being distributed. In addition, the MPAN program has closed to new registrations. As a result, we have received questions about whether MPAN members can still keep and renew their Action Pack Solution Provider subscription, so we want to take this opportunity to address these questions.
If you are currently an Action Pack Solution Provider subscriber:

You will maintain your benefits until your subscription expires. |

You can continue to renew your subscription yearly, as long as you do not allow your subscription to expire. If you let your subscription expire, you will then be bound by the new membership eligibility requirements as outlined in the network guide, and you may not be eligible to renew your subscription. |

Beginning June 30, 2010, accountants will no longer be eligible to order new Action Pack Solution Provider subscriptions; they will only be able to renew existing Action Pack Solution Provider subscriptions (unless they meet the Microsoft Partner Network Registered Member eligibility requirements as outlined in the network guide). |

You will need to take an online assessment every two years and pass with a score of 70 percent or higher. |
Other Options
If you need a different Microsoft solution to run your business, check the Microsoft Small Business Center or the Microsoft Midsize Business Center to find a Microsoft Volume Licensing program that fits your needs. If you need assistance with Microsoft solutions-such as Windows Small Business Server, Windows Server, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, or Microsoft Office-search for a Microsoft Small Business Specialist near you who is skilled in providing and deploying Microsoft solutions to small and midsize businesses.

The Microsoft Partner Program is designed for businesses whose primary function is to sell, service, support, or build solutions on the Microsoft platform, or to provide solutions based on Microsoft products and technologies to independent third-party customers. The Action Pack software licenses are provided for use at the Partner's primary business location only and must be used only for internal business purposes, application development, and testing. The licenses are NOT intended for employee personal use at home, for hosting customer's applications, or for installation at a customer site, and may NOT be resold, transferred, or assigned to any third party. If you do not renew your subscription by your expiration date, you are required to remove the Action Pack software from all systems and destroy the media as stated in the Action Pack license agreement.
