Tweaking group policy for RWW

One of the group policy tweakages I've done is to have it so that when someone connects via RWW that the desktop background they have on their office machines get's blanked out.  With Vista and Win7 and the nice (heavy graphical) wallpapers people have chosen slows down the remote web workplace screen.

So just go into Group policy

and enable the "Enforce Removal of Remote Desktop Wallpaper"

Susan, you really are a jewel. Your series about SBS2008 migration, this tip and the one before it about the disconnected drive red X's - you've been providing solid, nuts and bolts information at a higher level than ever, at a time when a lot of the other bloggers seem to have dialed back their efforts. I'm one of those RWW users that was complaining to myself how slow the redraw of the screen was.  It was self motivated to find a solution :-)

Does the changes in the following knowledge base article and these group policy settings achieve the same thing, or are they two different tweaks that should be done?

They actually acheive the same thing.  You can pick one or the other.  I personally prefer the group policy/block the wallpaper over the TS session as it speeds up over regular RDP as well as the RWW.
