(woo hooo!)
I am impressed with MINI's CRM and tracking system. My MINI has moved from "on order" to Scheduled for Production. It's getting ready to be built in England.
TMI. Whenever I see you now, I'm going to think of your car emerging from a gigantic vagina.
Please don't show pictures when it comes out of the "birth canal". I hope they give it a wash when they do, at least...
;)

I just got mine off the party boat a few weeks ago. A Dark Grey Cooper S (2008).
If you get Mini Financing (aka BMW) you also get a MINI card -- note: When the dealer sets up your card to look like you car, don't worry if it doesn't match. You can get a replacement car with all the right style and trim for free a few days after your car arrives.
Lots of oddities with the "Comfort Bluetooth" and I am still not sure if I like the radio -- the fact that I have to do multiple menu pushes to change from Radio to CD or to USB/IPod is a pain.
i.e. if the CD is not inserted, then inserting the CD switches over automaticaly... but to get back to radio you must either eject the CD or else press "audio" -> scroll over two ticks to radio -> push button, and now you are on the radio.
I am going to see about putting a raised marker on a few of the buttons so I can find by touch rather than by sight.

Are you going to name yours with a custom plate?
OMFG :)
Rachel and I were just about to order one, with all the trimmings... problem is with all the goods it is over 40K here!
That, with the boot (trunk) space that could fit a handbag, if you are lucky, did not add up... but that said, it is the most fun I have had in a car in ages when I test drove it.
Did you get the inbuit satnav system? that is SO cool....
For us... we will probably have to stick to a Golf GTI.
