And at this time..on SBS 2003 I guarantee it's not.

All well and good Susan, but they would not support me BECAUSE it was SBS.   So the fact it was not working was not the point, the fact that they blame SBS is!

Anyway, they make Sage look like angels....   that is saying something ;)

Interesting article.  I only have one client that has QB 2007 Pro and he bought it for the sole reason that he could run his QB data on the server instead of having it on one PC as before.  He called Intuit and they told him the only way he could get the data shared on SBS was to install the QB application on the server and then setup Multi-user mode.  I told him that shouldn't be the case but he went ahead and installed QB on SBS and Database Mangager.  I don't know what to do now!  SBS should not have a desktop app running on it.  Any thoughts or suggestions?  Why does Intuit insist on SBS not being a "real" server OS?

I haven't have any problems setting up the DB manager. The only issue I have had is that the DB manager will lose the DB settings sometimes and will require me to re-find the DB folder.

The database manager does indeed get installed on the Server.
