The question of the evening is... how does one spell IPsec (or is it IPSec)?

Microsoft has it as IPSec.... but wikipedia and other sources has it as IPsec.  And even Office 2007 wants to capitalize it.

...so is it IPSec or IPsec?  Inquiring minds want to know tonight....

When all else fails, go back to the standards document that spawned the standard - RFC 4031 is the current RFC for this protocol. It says:

"The spelling "IPsec" is preferred and used throughout this and all related IPsec standards.  All other capitalizations of IPsec (e.g., IPSEC, IPSec, ipsec) are deprecated.  However, any capitalization of the sequence of letters "IPsec" should be understood to refer to the IPsec protocols."

In other words, you _should_ use "IPsec", but you shouldn't be a nitpicker if faced with "IPSec".
