Do we need advertisements everywhere?
At LAX getting ready for the flight to Chicago and in the bin trays that one uses to place laptops, shoes and what not... the LAX United security check in has advertisements. Yes, advertisements. Haven't we taken this a tad too much in the advertisement driven economy when the security check in lines have ads?
And quite frankly as much as you are worried about not losing boarding passes, laptops, shoes and what not ... now effective is that advertising anyway? My tray was some company that offered desk organization stuff ...but quite honestly I'm pulling a blank on the vendor name right now.
What makes the most impact? According to the group that I visited the other day that was offering up a television package called "Vision plus", a sustained message, a strong visual, and you reinforce that image over and over again.
But in a security line in an airport? Dunno about that...
