The customer, the swan, the podcast
Susanne is talking about customer relationships and how you have to understand that the customer is right at the same time may be wrong.
Design your firm to be a swan... sleek and elegant at the top and paddling like mad underneath..
But if you have time for all of that paddling? edit for clarity.. But if you don't have time for all that paddling, one of the ways you can deal with the information overload is podcasts.
Susanne also pointed to Tim's site to help organize the podcasts at http://www.sbspodcast.com/ and over and over again I've heard people talk about that they miss the Inside SBS podcasts. Tim forgot to list the newest one.... Partnercasts - http://www.ts2seminars.com/main.aspx?cat=events&p=partnerCasts Several partners nearly hugged Peter Gallagher when they saw him here. Tim also said to recommend additional podcasts on his blog site http://www.nogeekleftbehind.com/2007/07/10/official-launch-of-sbspodcastcom/
But what about ways to communicate to your customers? Consider podcasts and blogs too. If you enjoy them.. what about your customers learning little techy tidbits to make their technology a bit more understandable. Communicate to your customers in newsletters, in blogs, in video casts about what you do and what the technology you implemented does. Be yourself and there's no better way to showcase what you do.
