Yes it appears to be another bad SVChost month but the good news is that with the new WSUS 3.0 client and 927891 it looks like we finally have the fix in hand.

According to the website you referenced they said to install the WSUS 3.0 client even though Windows XP says it's already installed. Have you found this to be necessary?
