Windows Vista Security Guide
On September 6th the Windows Vista Security guide will be released for "beta".... and in the meantime, the Tech Ed 2006 presentation on Vista security is on the web as well.
I used to argue that it wasn't SBSized...but these days I would argue that we are best served by 'choosing' the right settings and not just blindly install INF files. What's the risks to your specific clients? Don't know what their risks are?
Security is about risk management and unless you have taken the time to understand the risks of your clients, you can't secure your clients I would argue.
So while you are giving that Vista RC1 a test, on Wednesday look for that Vista guide to be released for "beta" testing.
