The "good enough"

There they go again..using the "it's good enough for lightweight users and small businesses" to justify a lightweight web app.

Ugh.

I hate that.  There are some small businesses who use the full blown hunking applications because they use all the features.  And I'm a small business. So why does everyone assume that all small businesses are this cookie cutter version and we're exactly alike?

Are all of your clientele the same?  I think not...

Lets see a few city goverments, lots of banks, law offices and misc other businesses.  Many are similar and do the same tasks but none have the same processes and requirements. Nope none of them are the same as the other. What the heck is this "good enough" crap? If your going to do something do it right and do it completly. If that means you need a bigger tool then use the bigger tool.
