Edit and Find

Excel 2007.  I wanted to use the command Edit/Find that in Excel 2003 is two cliicks. In Excel 2007 it's:

Home
Editing
Find&Select
Find

versus

Edit
Find

I had to search in the help file to figure out where they moved the dang thing.  You know I honestly think that the harder migration will be Office 2007 than Vista.  We lost productivity the year we moved from Lotus to Excel and I think a move to Office 2007 will be a small hit as well.  I'm with ya Susanne... the trusted advisor will be deploying what makes sense... not what the latest on the shelf...

You could add the command the quick access toolbar.

Susan,
1. Click on the drop down arrow toward the top left (in the darbk blue area)
2. Select 'Customize Quick Access Toolbar'
3. Select 'Home' from "Choose commands from:"
4. Locate 'Find' command and "Add" to the list of Quick Access toolbar on the right!
5. Click OK and your Find (binocular icon) will be up on the top left.

Now, Excel 2007 is BETTER than Excel 2003 ---it's one click instead of 2!
