SMB signing
Server Message Block communication between a client-side SMB component and a server-side SMB component is not completed if the SMB signing settings are mismatched in Group Policy or in the registry:

..interesting... I'll have to see if this has any impact on our networks.... SMB signing is something that us SBSers have been dealing with for a long time....debating.... arguing over the impact of it......looks like we'll still be arguing over it...
