I love three letter acronyms don't you? Someone will use a TLA or an abbreviation and you are scratching your head as to what it means....
Okay so SB = small business... but what's LMM and CMM on this sale toolkit framework that Steven talks about?
AH HA.. down in the bottom it says *SB = 0-25; LMM = 25-50; CMM = 50-250 PC's ..hmmm okay... hmmm... okay so I still think SB = Small Business... but what the heck is LMM? I seriously doubt it means Lutheran Men in Mission....I think it's "Low Mid Market" based on this powerpoint?
AHHA from the 5th page on that slide.... we have "Microsoft Taxonomy"
Based on Microsoft taxonomy:
Upper Mid-market (UMM) – 250+ PCs/Employees
Core Mid-market (CMM) – 50-249 PCs/Employees
Lower Mid-market (LMM) – 25-49 PCs/Employees
But look.. they are doing it again.. focusing on employees and PCs...and I'm still not convinced people buy computers and software and technology that way.....
(regardless of the tongue in cheek fun poking at the TLAs and taxonomy of Microsoft...check out that sales framework.... and do it ASAP!)
