The SBS Community Survey... making your voice heard

In many of these communities many folks have complained about Microsoft not listening.. well folks... and I'm sorry if you said in the past "Microsoft isn't listening"... well now it's more like "you aren't stepping up to the plate when asked".

400 responses is lame... we can do better than that.  And if you come to SMBnation.com  in Redmond where there's 800 folks planning to be there... and I found out that you didn't fill out the survey... well.. we're just going to see who gets invited to the All geek pj's, jammies and hottub party now won't we?

Seriously folks... this is one of those times when your feedback does indeed get 'eyeball' time.

If you haven't filled it out... do it.. right now .. this minute.  It does count.. and this does matter.

Thanks Susan for the support. I am still taking it all in. I am not sure what to think about it. One one hand, I was kind of expecting responses in the thousands because the SBS Community is so active and so BIG. On the other hand, I know everyone is busy and no one I know really has a lot of time on their hands and it seems like a few people are concerned about the anonymity of the survey because of the passport requirement. So, maybe under a thousand is all I can expect.

You definitely did shake a few more apples out of the tree. I had a grand total just around 400 yesterday and then BAMMM! I walk in today and there are close to 500. A 25% bump in responses! Not sure if it was your post or the extra press I got by the link to the survey on the main page of SBS at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/sbs/default.mspx under quick links and also on the community page.

Any way, thanks and I hope the responses keep coming in. Kevin Kean, our new PUM sat at my laptop for the longest time today at our meeting that we had today, you know the one. ;) and was completely in a trance looking at the results, especially the comments. He wanted me to send him all in the raw, so that he could take it in. He really wants to know what people think too! It was exciting to see this being a community guy and all. He made a comment that I really appreciated something to the affect, "it is one thing to go on what your gut says, but having the data is always the better way to go." I know Kevin reads your blog, so maybe he will chime in. ;)

Thanks,

Kevin
