And update to the XP shared computer tool kit

The Microsoft Shared Computer Toolkit for Windows® XP. Version 1.1 software update is now available. The new version still offers the same powerful software tools for shared computers in classrooms, school computer labs, libraries, and other public places as the previous version, and also includes software updates that resolve a few known issues.

"..home users can't find proper original media..."

Amen to that, sister!! If I had a dollar for every time that happened, I'd need an armored car. Stephen Cracknell showed the SCT at TS2 last week. It's a rockin' tool to have in your arsenal.

My advice, though, is that you should never, ever, use one of these "kiosk" type computers for anything other than public browsing.
Don't ever enter your user name or password into the kiosk computer. You never know when it's installed by some weasel intent on getting at your personal information.
[Example: If I install a kiosk computer at my local mall, leave it around for a couple of hours, how many people would question its presence (as opposed to those that simply use it)?]
