For those reading my blog after the Illinois Business and Technology show
For all those reading this blog that were in the audience of my talk about SBS 2003 at the Ilinois Business and Technology show... you know the one where I made sure you know that Windows 95 is dead, Windows 98 has no security and you should be ripping Windows NT out of your networks? You are like me many eons ago when I was in the audience of a presentation by Tony Teng who told me about SBS 4.0 [the SBS version built on NT]. I knew it was the perfect server platform for my firm. I just had to 'find' an SBSer.
Now.what..you ask... is a SBSer? It's a consultant that typically 'is' a small business and thus they understand small business. They are also a consultant who has installed many SBS boxes.
And there's the key.... you need to ask this consultant “How many Small Business Server 2003's have you installed?”. If the answer is zero... call another person. We have SBSers world wide. They are there. In fact some are getting a new designation called the “Small Business Specialist” so you will know that they have taken the time to indicate that they are “Small Business ready”.
