Yesterday I complained to some ISA folks that the ISA 2004 reports just didn't do what I wanted them to and when I went to go look at the raw files, because they are in msde I was not quite sure how to read them or even open them up.
What a difference a day makes.
Today on the download site I found the following:
MSDEToText.vbs converts ISA Server 2004 SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (MSDE) logs into a text file, or displays contents on the screen.
Whoa. This looks really promising.
Also check out these ISA tools for you guys in Big Server Land:
RemoveAllNLBSettings.cmd clears all Network Load Balancing (NLB) settings from an ISA Server array member, including bidirectional affinity (BDA) settings.
ISACertTool.exe helps you to deploy certificate required to authenticate communications between ISA Server array members and the Configuration Storage server in a number of ISA Server deployment scenarios.
Run CacheDir.exe on ISA Server 2004 to manage and display cache contents.
