Why developers shouldn't do tech support...

I got an email inviting me to take part in some great deals on some books from a certain company ( name withheld to protect the innocent). As the site was new, they were also encouraging some feedback. As it turned out a lot of the site didn't work...

SQL Timestamps

I was just reading a work around for timestamps with LINQ or WCF, and I must be stupid, but I just don't get it. In fact, ever since dotnet came out mapping timestamp to a byte array or SqlBinary, I never got why they did that. Timestamp is 8 bytes...
