Together with many great stuff from IIS team, including the new FTP component, FPSE, and Web Playlist :) (errr.. related to media server if you are in to media streaming)

Last but not least..... the IIS 7 Resource Kit book, well - this one still with the printing company :) should be at your major book store next month. I have the opportunity to write along with many IIS Gurus including Brett Hill, Mike Volodarsky and lot more. Be sure you get a copy asap!.

Web Application Security Books

So what are the best web application security books around? I found a few over here..... too bad - mine wasn't in the list :)
Anyway, out of 12, I have read four. If you are in web application space, I encourage you to get at least 4 to 6 books from the list.

It's out now :) Microsoft Log Parser Toolkit ! get it at major online bookstores. You will be amazed by how powerful and flexible this tiny parser can do, it will parse almost any log that you can find in Windows OS. It is a must have tool for Windows sysadmin. While I'd contributed two chapters that mainly related to IIS, there are many cool stuff that you will learn about parsing Snort IDS, ISA, Exchange, Event viewer, File system, and many types of log file. I must be pretty blur, should have post this before :) This is a sample chapter from my book. Get it here, hosted at Ken's site. Been busy recently, my coursework due this week :( It's not tough, just require lot of readings and the best part is “IT IS NOT TECHNICAL“ at all..... after this module, I will starting my last module (hopefully), it will take another 3 months....then planning to go for MSF exam (I know I know.. it's been two years since I wanted to go for it) I'm just too busy...

Oh ya, last week, I was in a hot discussions about Russ's presentation to AUSCert. I have to STRESS out, the way Russ categorize vulnerabilities for IIS 6.0 is completely ~~WRONG~~ MISLEADING. I will get into more detail when I'm done with my home work :(
