Was reading Microsoft Download RSS feed this morning, found two interesting downloads -

    1) Security At Microsoft - in this paper, Microsoft shares its internal security practices, quite amazing and we knew most of it, but in real life, have you ever do it that way ?  I guess it's time to re-evaluate what you have in your company and try not to be too far behind :)

    2) Port Requirements for Microsoft Windows Server System - a good excel sheet giving you all the port information you need about Microsoft Windows Server. One stop center for all different servers system, nice and neat. I wonder when they will put it as a KB article.

Microsoft just updated the product information page, very nice and neat. It gives you overview features, system requirements, SRP $$ and a link to the product website. Try it, Microsoft Product Info ! nice ?

Ya, while we on this, if you hate calling support via phone, try the product support center first, I'd spent consider amount of time at this site, looking for support info, how-to as well as tips and tricks articles. here's the link.

    Enjoy!

It is a pleasure to announce that in just one week, IIS will host 3 events for you to attend if your schedule permits - IN ONE DAY called IIS Day!  The events offer you the opportunity to spend an hour listening to the presentations and asking questions to Microsoft tester and developers along with IIS MVP's.

If you are a IT Professional, with little or a great deal of IIS experience - join us for the following events:

Also, this is a reminder that on November 19th, we will complete this month with HTTP.sys:  Inside and Out.
