You may also need to run this Mobile Certificate Diagnostics tool from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=bd4af7be-2e9b-4419-922f-6e4eb3fd30d5&DisplayLang=en 
"Use the Certificate Diagnostics Tool to determine whether the server certificate is installed correctly on the server and the mobile device, and identify problems that will prevent mobile devices from connecting to the Microsoft CRM server."
