SQL Script to clean up transaction logs on NON PRODUCTION servers

7.13.2004 | 5:41 pm

When you are developing you are always constantly hitting your development databases thus blowing out the transaction log.

I have uploaded a script (http://www.thespoke.net/downloads/details.aspx?ArtifactID=41d12201-971e-47c3-b972-27a48b8bf229) that you can run on your DEVELOPMENT SQL Server(s) that truncates the Transaction logs.

On one of my development sql server's @ Data#3 the script free's up about 4gb on the hard drive.
