I contacted penton (who now owns them) they quickly responded and acknowledged it. They then sent an email to me saying that aspnetpro.com was working...

I still see the old hijacked web site (even after clearing history and a reboot)?

In the Survey Industry, invitations are sent to participate in a survey by taking few classifications into consideration. Like for example, country, age and other information. After that there are further secondary classifications, which the person needs to address. That's why you are getting invitations. Once, if they find that you are not eligible for the survey, the survey companies doesn't want to waste their time as well as yours, that's why you are being disqualified for the survey. Yes! this is a fraud! I received 600 points for first 3 surveys just to lure and I was not qualified for every single survey I participated there after.

This way they are getting their job done for FREE.

This is so frustrating...

Hello Anand,

I really find a lot of your writing online very useful and thank you very much. I am new myself to C# and like programming in the new framework, but I do not understand a lot of the technicality and examples that are available through microsoft help site. They are pretty hard to understand. I am wondering if you know about axWebBrowser1.Navigate in C#. I am trying to transfer an image file to a webpage with POST.

I know that do it in java with HttpClient, but I know that there is a way to do it in C#. And how do you declare a FILE object in C#?

An important point: The title of the book doesn't mean the book targets only folks doing WinForms development. Rather, it targets developers working on the Windows platform, regardless of the environment (Java, PHP, .NET). We cover plenty of tools for web development such as the two you mention, plus there's even a separate chapter on ASP.NET libraries and controls.
