Professional ADO.NET 2

I'm happy to hear that the book for which I had worked (Professional ADO.NET 2: Programming with SQL Server 2005, Oracle, and MySQL) has been released by Wrox publishing and is now available at Amazon store. I'm yet to receive this book from Wrox. The book is packed with a detailed coverage about ADO.NET 2.0 and has been written by a team of Microsoft MVP's (Wallace B. McClure, Gregory A. Beamer, IV John J. Croft, J. Ambrose Little, Bill Ryan, Phil Winstanley, David Yack, Jeremy Zongker) and technical editor is also an MVP. [:)]

Finally, got the HP Notebook

My hosting service company (NetAns Technologies), which I run, has won the small business contest conducted by Microsoft Small Business Center and I got a cool new HP Notebook from Microsoft when I was away on Vacation, after a gap of nearly 6 months delay.

The delay was for good only and I collected the package from my neighbour and I'm about to get start with the new PC.

Thanks Microsoft!!!

Back after vacation
I'm back after a 2 week long trip to my native village - Sengalipuram. It was very cold there all the day due to the month of Karthigai. The train journey from Trivandrum to Madurai was exciting. It reached Madurai at around 5.30 AM sharp and the journey again continued through car. Finally, I reached the village at around 12.30 PM. I was there for a period of around 15 days and the return journey also continued in the same fashion. It was nice to see lot of monkey's on the road side trees (National highway from Thanjavur to Madurai). I ate Idly during the middle of the journey and it reached Madurai at around 7 PM. The train to Trivandrum was at 11.15 PM and I spent at the waiting room for around 4 hours. It reached Trivandrum at 7.15 AM and I finally reached home at 7.45 AM by Auto.
