Now it's not even safe when turned off.

Time was when we used to say "the only secure computer is one that has been turned off and unplugged".

According to New Scientist, that's not even safe any more:

"Even for the crazy world of quantum mechanics, this one is twisted. A quantum computer program has produced an answer without actually running."

What next, we have one that works when it's unplugged, too?
