Once you are in &amp;#39;Network Connections&amp;#39;, if you right click on the &amp;#39;Network Connections&amp;#39; text in the Control Panel browser text area, and tell it to &amp;#39;Copy Address&amp;#39;, you can go to your desktop area and right click, and tell it to &amp;#39;Paste as Shortcut&amp;#39;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It is one of the first things I do on any Vista or 2008 box, and the Windows team is well aware of how many people are annoyed with how many clicks it takes. &lt;/p&gt;
