On a serious note though please do send in all the crash error reports from Windows, Office and other applications. Microsoft personnel do pay close attention to all those reports and they will fix the problem, if at all possible, in the next Service Pack.

One Microsoft employee once stated to us MVPs "You know, my mother gets on my case sometimes about Windows. It's really hard dealing with your mother on Microsoft issues."

Now what does happen occasionally is that Microsoft can see highly unusual problems happening. And they'd really, really like to help out. But privacy laws and ethics forbid them from reaching out to the problem systems directly.
