Access 2007 hotfix - including a performance fix

"After you upgrade Access 2003 to Access 2007, operations on existing forms have slow performance."  See Access 2007 hotfix package: August 26, 2008 As well as other hotfixes.

The Microsoft Access Performance FAQ page has been updated accordingly.

Access 2007 Find Dialog Box is very slow when trying to find a record based on a value in a field.   Access 2000 was very fast at this.

Trent, I have no idea what the problem might be.  I'd suggest asking in an online forum  such as the Microsoft Product Support Newsgroups at support.microsoft.com/newsgroups  Click on English, Office, Access and then the appropriate newsgroup to review current postings and post your own question.
