You Mean There's a Better Way?
Now this is an excellent post. This illustrates why I like visiting my clients and asking them in person what they want to see. Sometimes the smallest changes can make a real difference in their job.
This is also why I take care of small requests while I'm working on larger modules. You need another field on this form or that report? A subtotal here? A form reworked a bit over there? A link from this form to that other form? That said my customers knew not to disturb me when I was working on site. Instead they'd email me or grab me in the hallway or the coffee room
I'm also a huge fan of updating the Access FE MDB/MDE every few hours or, at most, every few days. And send an email to the users with the changes made. See Ultra Frequent Application Deployment and the Auto FE Updater.
