You are correct we have one contract called "Fault Contract", but the mentioned three contracts are Core Contracts.

"Fault Contract" comes under Service Contract.

These are the Attributes available under Service Contract:

i)ServiceContract

ii)OperationContract

iii)FaultContract

At the time of discussing WCF Exception and Faults, I will cove the same.

Thanks for pointing it early.

My idea is to go in deeper step by step. Even I would like to mention the differences between Exception and Faults.

Hi,

wnated to point out that - we can include one more under "Types of Contract"

#4 Fault Contract - are used when we are throwing FaultException<T> and we need the detailed information provided by the instance of T, FaultContracts are published as part of the metadata for the service.
