I found this so flattering... even if my prediction has yet to materialize.

Trying the new Google Beta and it was cool.  If you put in William Ryan as a search term, not only does it appear, but I'm #3.   Then I put in W.G. Ryan and I was the first 5 hits.  Sure, that Ryan Homes guy is still ahead of me, but considering the income disparity between us, I figured he'd have a lot more hits and I'd be like 50th or something.

Anyway, I came across a post "Let the polarized views begin.”  I'm quite wrong on my original opinions but the game hasn't really started because it's hard to make a case that Microsoft is even sparsely trying to make a go of Portable Media Center.

Actually, I'm going to speak to the local .NET Users group about Portable Media Center next week (and I'm giving a presentation on ADO.NET 2.0 next month) and I wish I had more stuff to talk about.  Oh well.  I'm still positive on Portable Media Center although I think Microsoft needs to step up a little and quit listening to the marketing folks ;-)
