In this article, I will explain how to change/migrate SUS server to a new one and keep the patch database and content in simple steps.
Follow these 3 simple steps viz;
1. Copy all the files and folders under the \Content\cabs directory from the source server running SUS to the \Content directory on the target server.
2. Copy the following files under the VROOT of the default web site
\Aucatalog1.cab
\Aurtf1.cab
\approveditems.txt
3. Create a VROOT called “Content” and point to the “\Content\Cabs” directory.
