Microsoft ActiveSync 3.8 download available

Download Microsoft ActiveSync 3.8

New version of the Microsoft software for synching Windows Mobile devices with the desktop.

Fine, but I wish the release notes weren't "ActiveSync 3.8 contains fixes making synchronization more trouble free than ever before and includes all the significant improvements brought to you in ActiveSync 3.5, 3.6, and 3.7.1: it is easy to install and use while offering the best levels of reliability."

Tell me what you actually fixed, especially considering what a dog's breakfast some previous versions of ActiveSync have been! Via Neil Cowburn

I cannot get it to work with my compaq nx700 and XV6600WOC. I get memory errors then the program fails. Any suggestions?

The options for what to sync are not sticking. I have to manaually set them each time I put it into the cradle.
